Lovely and comforting November 1, 2008 A. Jones (Somerville, NJ) This is one of my favorite teas. It's sweet enough that I don't need to add anything to it, it has that wonderful vanilla aroma and taste, plus it's caffeine-free and full of antioxidants on top of it all. It's light and fresh, completely different from other herbal teas or the white, green and black teas most people usually drink. Love it.
My favorite tea September 29, 2008 Mark O'Neal (Bear, DE United States) I love this tea. It is the only tea I really like hot. It is also my husband's favorite tea. I find many teas too bitter, so maybe I like the sweetness of this tea.
My Favorite!! September 16, 2008 Leosmom03 (Mount Laurel, New Jersey United States) I drink a lot of tea both iced and hot. Next to my regular standby black tea as a hot drink, this tea is my favorite. The flavor is great. Considering it is not an expensive tea, it has a very rich, soothing taste. I was recently in the store where I originally purchased it and they no longer carried it. I also checked a couple of other stores who said they did not carry it. Recently while shopping in a store I had not shopped in before I spotted it on the shelf and bought three boxes. All hope is not lost though, at least it can be ordered through Amazon.com or the Celestial Seasonings website. If you are a tea drinker who loves rich vanilla flavor, this tea is for you! If you want a sweet treat without a lot of calories and no caffeine this is a great choice. I hope this flavor is never discontinued -- tea drinking would never be the same!
Absolutely wonderful September 12, 2008 Kurt A. Johnson (Marseilles, Illinois, USA) Ah, it's a definitely American story - in 1969 friends Mo Siegel and Wyck Hay of Colorado began selling the herbal teas that they had previously only made for themselves. From such small beginnings came that famous tea company - Celestial Seasonings.
Among Celestial Seasonings' many products is an absolutely wonderful, naturally decaffeinated herbal infusion - Madagascar Vanilla Red. This tea is based on South African red tea, made with roobios (pronounced "roy-boss") leaves, and includes delicious Madagascar vanilla. It tastes great either hot or iced - deliciously vanilla-filled, with a nutty subtaste that makes this tea a great way to end the evening.
By the way, I have found that the best way to drink this tea is hot, with sugar and milk, accompanied by fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies. Mmm Mmm Good!
love this tea! July 28, 2008 Leisa M. Farquhar (WA, USA) fell in love with this tea when I bought it at my local grocery store, but then they quit carrying it. Thank goodness I can get it through Amazon.
