5 out of 5 stars This product is Great!   October 15, 2008

I don't drink coffee anymore, I feel better drinking this tea, is delicius and healthy.

5 out of 5 stars I use it for Iced Tea...delicious! Forget about Sobe, Arizona bottled tea!   April 1, 2008
Michele (California)
This tea is SO....DELICIOUS!! And Green Tea is healthy for you too, as green tea has lots of antioxidants and drinking it can raise your metabolism...I really don't like regular green tea hot, and I can drink it iced like no tomorrow, but only when it's a sweltering summer day...but this rasberry flavored is so good...year round!!

I only use 2 teabags to make 96 oz as well! (Heating the water first of course, but to get the antioxidant benefit from green tea, it should be made in hot water first, not steeped in cold water like when you make iced tea...) I heat half the water in a teapot and let one teabag steep, let it cool and stir the teabag around before putting in container, then do that again.

To save more calories, I add 6 packets of Stevia SweetLeaf sweetener while the last pot of tea is quite warm so it dissolves well. This sweetens it perfectly, but not overly. (Stevia sweetener is the healthiest, most natural...those new sweeteners "made from sugar" are NOT as "natural" as they'd have you believe--a physician mentioned they can cause formaldehyde in the brain)
Make this tea iced like this, and fill your own bottle when you go somewhere, you'll save money & the environment, (less resources than buying it one bottle at a time) as one box of this tea on sale at amazon costs less than a bottle of Arizona or Sobe at a mini mart, and it tastes better and is healthier with Stevia!!

Also, Celestial Seasonings is a great company, this product is packaged with recycled content and teabags are not individually wrapped to save resources...a company with a conscience!

5 out of 5 stars Great breakfast drink   March 17, 2008

This is my favorite type of tea. I love teas and have many types but this is the one that I drink every morning for breakfast. Nothing can beat it.

5 out of 5 stars Celestial Seasonings Green Tea, Raspberry Gardens   April 5, 2007
Mary M. James (Anaheim, CA ~ USA)
Makes GREAT iced tea for the spring and summer months.... Very refreshing. In a hurry? No need to boil water. I add 5 tea bags to a 2 qt. container, hot or room temperature water, let it sit on the counter for awhile then refridgerate.....

3 out of 5 stars Needs more raspberry!   August 21, 2006

Raspberry Gardens contains healthful green tea, which is known to provide many health benefits such as providing antioxidants which help mitigate the problems of aging, and assisting with weight loss. The aroma of this tea is raspberry as advertised. The flavor is tart and flat--dominated by hibiscus. Raspberry flavor is very faint.

Celestial Seasonings gets extra points for their packaging: they utilize 100% natural recycled paperboard in their boxes and they don't package each tea bag individually. Instead they use a system of a waxed paper bag inside the box that stays shut when you fold it. It keeps the bags fresh and utilizes less packaging than individually wrapping each bag. They put a caffeine meter on the box to compare this tea with cola and coffee beverages-this tea has 15 mg of caffeine compared to 90 in a cup of drip coffee. The level of antioxidants would be a good addition. The art they use on each box is beautiful as are the quotes and information they put on every surface.

Quote from the box: "The friend who holds your hand and says the wrong thing is made of dearer stuff than the one who stays away." Barbara Kingsolver.
