Great tea, but have found human hair sewn into the pearls, twice, two different shipment October 14, 2008 K. Lam (Los Angeles, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this tea, it's great and great for the price but I guess you have to live with the lack of quality assurance. I normally would give this product a 4 or 5 stars, but because of the two different time I have receive human hair sewn into the pearl, I find it unacceptable.
Great tea, great price! September 16, 2008 a work in progress (Ames, IA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After much experimenting, I'm a totally devoted fan of Rishi Teas but I make one exception and Numi's Jasmine Pearls is it. Jasmine pearl tea is my favorite tea, hands down, but as any jasmine pearl lover knows, it ain't cheap! This tea is a great value AND tastes good. I defy anyone to find a better deal on GOOD jasmine pearl tea!
Decent for its price May 31, 2008 X. Dong (Orlando , Florida) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This tea smells wonderful and it is a pretty good product for it price. Yet the flavor goes away quickly after a couple of infusion. The reason is that the pearl is rolled by basically tea stems not leaves and the flavor it gives is limited.
I am happy about it but will look for a better grade and am willing to pay more for a better product. Any of you tried something different?
I drink this tea all the time March 2, 2008 D. L. Lederman (Iowa USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this tea. It has a delicate flavor and fabulous aroma. It is VERY economical, but you have to be careful how you steep it. Many people like to put in 20 or more pearls, so as to get a strong aroma, but that makes a bitter tea. All you need are 4-6 pearls per large mug, and the pearls can be re-used about 4 times before needing to be refreshed. Many green teas which are bagged and made from broken or crushed leaves can get bitter very quickly, and have to be watched during steeping so as not to over steep, but with these whole leaf pearls you can leave them in the water for a good amount of time, I'd say they only really get bitter after about 1/2 hour or so, which is amazing because green tea bags can only be steeped about one minute before they get bitter. My whole family loves this tea. And because they are pearls you get the advantage of having loose tea without the disadvantage of needing paraphernalia to steep it.
OK, just not great February 10, 2008 D. Stewart (USA) This tea was tasty, but not great. I've had better loose leaf (although not pearls), but I've lost that supplier. Guess I'll just keep looking for a more floral, smooth tea.
