1 out of 5 stars Ripped Off TEA!   May 29, 2008

If you go to Matchaandmore, matchasource, and other websites to buy matcha, you can get cheaper than what they offer here. For 7 oz of tea costing $99 from a source unknown, I don't think I would encourage anybody to do so. Honestly, I practice tea ceremony and I buy matcha very often, most of the time directly from Japan. Because I tend to try various types of tea, I look around. However, this tea is awful!

Certified organic Uji matcha is offered on other websites. Amazon shouldn't let this product sold here.

5 out of 5 stars Exccellent Matcha   September 7, 2007

I am very happy with this purchase. It seems a bit pricey upfront but it lasts and lasts. I drink 4 to 5 cups a day. I bought this bag about a month ago and I still have a huge amount left. It looks to me like this one bag will last at least several months.

The quality is excellent. It's not the very best tasting Matcha I've ever had, but close. And the fact that it's organic is very important to me since I drink so much of it.

1 out of 5 stars Rip-off sold me 6 year old tea!!!   July 3, 2007

first off this company is a joke. they sell expired tea. look at the back of your tea and see how it is expried. mine was expired in 2003 I bought in 2007. stale to say the least. They are crooks and trying to make a fast buck off Japanese culture. I am insulted to say the least.

I filed with amazon and reported them to the better business burough.

Would you serve your kids a 5 year old bag of chips? how about a five year old box of mac and cheese? this stuff will make you sick!

They are the rudest people around and DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!! if you have any respect for Japanese culture you will boycott this company!!!
