Good price, acceptable product December 19, 2008

I agree with the other reviewer in that it is an acceptable sen-cha, slightly "fishy" and grassy. Green Tea is our daily morning beverage, so it's fine for that, but lacks considerably when compared with other higher-end organic loose leaf green teas.
I don't regret giving it a shot, and will gladly go through the 16oz bag I bought - but will probably look for a better organic green tea next time.

The price is truly unbeatable, though the tea isn't the best. Flavor has the traditional vegetal/grassy flavors that a green tea should have, but also a very slightly fishy character (not as much as most low grade teabag teas though, don't worry). Very delicate. It makes a decent everyday-ish green tea.
