| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This is a similiar tea to our regular Baihao Yinzhen, but the presentation in pearl form is truly a winner. They are rolled with Jasmine bloosoms too. Get all the known antioxidants of white tea and the beauty of the pearls. Serve 6 or 8 pearls in a clear glass and watch them unfurl. Can be used three times with good flavor. Use water at about 185 deg. F for best flavor.White tea, originally produced in China's Fujian Province, is unique. It is different from all other teas in that the fresh leaves undergo only two processing operations, in a rigorously natural fashion: Withering and drying.Very little white tea is produced and its manufacture requires particular care. The name white tea comes from the silvery-white color of its leaves, which often have a white down on them. China is practically the only supplier of high quality white teas.Brewing: 6-8 pearls per cup (multple infusions OK)Water Temperature: Between 170 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit (The more delicate the tea the lower the temperature.)Steeping Time: 2-3 minutes.Flavor: subtle, fresh, dissipating sweetnessLiquor: pale, straw colored

Exquisite Soft White Tea........ with an edge May 3, 2008 Toobz (Florida) After having tried this Dragon Pearl style tea in a friends Chinese restaurant (which was her personal stock) I set out to try to purchase something similar. My friend is from Fuzhou, PRC and her family works in the tea industry there. The product she gave me to drink looked like this product but must have been from another universe in flavor and quality. This product is harsh and not at all smooth or with the fruity or flowery notes of the type she had. This product has a coarse or harsh taste all the way through your drinking experience. Much like boiled peach pits. It is much harsher than my other White teas(loose) and actually taste worse than my Temple of Heaven Gunpowder Green Tea. Preparing the tea in your YiXing teapot chinese style will not improve your experience. It isn't what I would expect for the amount paid. I also found the Phoenix Dragon Jasmine Pearl Green Tea only marginally better than this style. I will not fault the service of the company only this product. Find a higher quality product.
