Lovera's Homemade Olive Salad conisists of green olives, black olives, artichoke hearts, a wide variety of pickled vegetables like carrots, celery, peppers, garlic (of course), pimentos, onions, eggplant, and mushrooms in seasoned olive oil. It is fantastic on a sandwich with salame, ham and cheese, or as a topping for pizza. This is what makes a muffaletta sandwich, a muffaletta sandwich! It has a good shelf life; that is, if it should happen to last long enough! I guess you could say that it has a shelf life equal to the length of time it takes someone to discover it in the fridge! But don't take our word for it, order some today!

No other substitute works like this product- not even the homemade salad I made from a New Orleans cookbook. Ample enough for a large loaf, the taste was light but distinctive.
