Good, but not my favorite KOI dish January 4, 2009 D. Fafarman (CA USA) The spices in this product have a wonderful fragrance that wafts up at you when you open the package. It is also very convenient. Downsides are that it is very salty, and the vegetables are, well, canned vegetables -- what more can I say?
I liked this a lot. December 12, 2008 Techthusiast (Earth) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very good over rice (I used Jasmati) ... got it on sale and liked it better than the Palak Paneer (also good). Have no idea how this is meant to taste or how it holds up to the real thing.
By the last package I was experimenting with adding:
Lemon Juice Sriracha Pepper (some salt) Worcestershire Sauce (optional) and Chunk Light Tuna!
Divine.
Good product, but not packaged for microwave. December 2, 2008 Dowitch (Greater Indpls, IN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This curry is mild to medium-hot, and not real thick (not really watery, just not thick). The vegetables are mashed to almost smooth. It's very good to pour over rice or as a topping for meat. I bought it to take to work for a quick lunch, and it suits. The only drawback is the packaging. The inner pouch isn't microwaveable, so the product must be squeezed out into a bowl before heating (it tends to cling to the pouch a little, too).
Excellent! October 27, 2008 J. Lee 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just had this for lunch right now and it was delicious! Very tasteful and goes PERFECTLY over rice. Specifically the KOI Kashmiri Basmati rice! The portions are perfect as well when mixing the two.
It was very tasty and quite filling too. This is probably my current favorite KOI meal. I've tried the rajma masala, dal bukara, pindi chana, and palak paneer. My second favorite would have to be the pindi chana. The rajma is OK but I don't prefer the flavor as much. The palak paneer is a little bland but oddly spicy. And the dal bukara is quite salty.
